Global II by Dry & Store

Dry & Store is the most effective way to care for hearing instruments of all types - hearing aids and cochlear implant processors.

Utilising the same principle as clothes drying on a line. Dry & Store gently circulates warm, dry air around your hearing instruments. The specially formlated Dry-Brik desiccant captures the moisture. So it's gone. Completely.

Desiccant

The Global ships with one Dry-Brik® II disposable desiccant.
The desiccant also absorbs odors as it captures moisture.
The Dry-Brik® II desiccant, once activated, lasts two (2) months. Replacement desiccants are inexpensive and are available online.
Each Dry-Brik has a shelf life of at least one and a half years, unopened.

Germicidal Properties
The Global germicidal lamp produces ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths. During its three minute cycle, the lamp will generate enough germicidal energy to yield a 99% kill on common bacteria found in the external ear canal.

Elimination of this flora from hearing aids can significantly reduce itching and the reintroduction of infection-causing bacteria into the ear canal.

The germicidal lamp is a surface sanitizer only, and has little to no penetrating power. It is not harmful to plastics or earmolds.

Battery Removal
Batteries do not have to be removed from hearing aids before Dry & Store use. Independent tests showed a 10-20% gain in battery life under high (85% RH) humidity conditions, and no decrease in life at normal (50% RH) conditions.
