Global II by Dry & StoreDry & Store is the most effective way to care for hearing instruments of all types - hearing aids and cochlear implant processors. Utilising the same principle as clothes drying on a line. Dry & Store gently circulates warm, dry air around your hearing instruments. The specially formlated Dry-Brik desiccant captures the moisture. So it's gone. Completely. The result: Most users report better sound quality and fewer repairs. Plus Dry & Store's UV lamp kills germs that are often the cause of odours, itching and irritation. With Dry & Store, you can start every day with fresh clean hearing instruments.

Germicidal Properties Elimination of this flora from hearing aids can significantly reduce itching and the reintroduction of infection-causing bacteria into the ear canal. The germicidal lamp is a surface sanitizer only, and has little to no penetrating power. It is not harmful to plastics or earmolds. Battery Removal What's in the box?

Dry & Store Global |
| I have now had Dry & Store Global for several months, having previously had little if any success with standard dry-aid tubs.
The Global has a built in fan and heater which in my experience does a better job at removing moisture from the hearing aid and ear mould. It also has a germicidal light which is supposedly said to kill some bacteria, but I can't from observation really verify that it does. AS I sweat a lot, the Global has been a huge help at removing moisture that I would normally have had to have extracted by my audiologist. I recommend it to all hearing aid users as a "must-have" device. One word of advice: remove batteries before putting aid in dryer. Instruction manual says otherwise. I experienced no extended battery life as claimed by manufacturer. I would lean to the side of caution and remove the batteries in case they leak. |
